I thought it might be funny to start a thread about the latest yoga craze following on from sticky's Nude yoga post. So add to it as you hear about some new yoga craze that makes you larf out loud!

You thought they had thought of everything but no! What about...Yoga on Yachts!

It's been started in Fort Lauderdale in the US and apparently keeping up with the latest trends it 'combines health and wellness into exclusive yachting vacations' - of course! The agency acclimates highly skilled massage therapist and yoga instructors into yachting life with personal mentoring. What more could you ask for. Yoga on yachts, would be a little unstable don't cha think ?

Forget coming to class, just phone in to your yoga class ! If you're too busy to drop by your nearest studio or have been traveling and are out of town, you get to call in to your one-on-one phone yoga sessions with a New York fitness company.

The article I read said...'Now you can enjoy yoga at the comfort of your own home. Simply take out your yoga mat, pick up your phone...' So really, how is this going to work? Trikonasana with the phone in one hand - perfect!

LOL - actually the phone idea sounds a bit mad but a virtual type of yoga where you don't have to be in an actual studio (and is portable) is out there.

Have you guys ever heard of the site Yoga Online from Yoga Download – Online audio yoga classes in mp3 format with free printable pose guides and free trial It's really interesting - you can get a free podcast of “20 Minute Yoga Sessions”. They call themselves an 'online virtual yoga studio' and amazingly they have already had one million downloads from the site!!! Sometime last year they began offering 20-30 minute podcast classes in a wide variety of yoga styles, each with a printable pose guide. These podcast classes can easily be downloaded as either an audio only class or audio with a yoga pose slideshow. Good idea eh?
