Thanks for this thread Helen, I can totally relate to this. Last night I went with a friend to her 'restorative yoga' class. Not really my thing, or so I thought. I had had a busy day and was feeling, sort of, I don't know, out of balance. You know that way when ya just feel like the energy is just bouncing around, but not in a good way!
Well we go there and the first thing we did was lie over a bolster, eye bag on, the works! My mind was FREAKIN' out all over the place, I couldn't get into it. I was thinking, SH** I've got an hour and a half of this!

But then, she just got us to focus on our breath and we did lots of other great breath stuff and you know what, I came out of there walking on air. Amazing what an hour and a half of breathing does for you!!! It reminded me I don't 'need' hectic, full on yoga, what I need (whether I know it or not), is to try and calm down and breathe.
