Default Donna (Sa)Farhi

Wow,
I just basked for 6 days at Donna Farhi's feet in Sydney. Who cares if it rained non-stop and the room was not as fresh as it could be...we all had an amazing time together.

She is an inspiration to real practice and self-compassion in our yoga.

If you were there, you know we were lucky to be there.
If you missed it.....see you next year.....
T/boy

She's small, but a really powerful teacher who leads by example, fearlessly and with great originality.

She's been my teacher for about 7 years now, and totally changed my asana practice (no more back and hip pain for years now!) and my attitude to myself (better) and she always weaves the spiritual practice of yoga and observance of the sutras into everything you do. Her (positive) effect on people is amazing.

Try Donna Farhi for details or read any of her (excellent) books, especially "Bringing your yoga to life" and "Yoga mind, body spirit." Both are essential to any serious yogi who is not blinded by the allure of extreme postures, but rather by honest and compassionate practice.

She's next in Sydney November 2008...details on her website but book early, nearly 40 people missed out this year!

I'll see you there with bells on
TB
