Good luck to all in the Oz Yoga community doing your 108 sun salutes tomorrow early morning....maybe see you in the Botanic Gardens if you are there...I'll be the red-faced one panting unyogically, and probably hanging out for a super-long savasana.....
![]() It looks like we will help raise a heap of moolah for Save the Children into the bargain. Spirit in Action. Namaste

You missed an absolute treat. Perfect weather, great set up, awesome teachers. I thought the gesture might be more important than the practice, but even for a purist like me, it was an overwhelming experience of real community, a great (but tiring practice) and great fun too.
To see so many yogis under the Sydney sky together was a great site.... I hope your loungeroom lived up to the same standards.....and no skiving off for a chai after only 75 salutes! Well done anyway. T/boy

I did mine with the yogies at D/shala in Bondi. Edo did some great chanting and thankfully Anna counted all 108!
![]() I was exhausted but it felt great. I think they've raised about $700 so far, and still taking donations if anyone wants to give and hasn't yet. I'm not sure if the organisers have hit their overall fundraising target, but we had a great time!! Well done to other yogies who took part in the challenge. Namaste everyone! ![]()

I was there at Botanical Gardens with the Power Yoga team who have raised $5000 so far, Duncan did a great job teaching his suryanamaskars!
BTW - they've overexceeded their target of $100,000 from Australian yogies. Nice work everyone!! ![]() |
