Could you identify any particular poses that make you feel that way, or is it a more general thing? Do you feel it before, during or after class?
Some poses aren't suitable for example if you have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure etc. because they put inappropriate pressure on the relevant system of the body. While all the poses have benefits, not everyone should perform all the postures. So if you've had any illness or unique condition think about it. You could also be feeling sick if you haven't eaten... I agree Mac about the possibility of toxins flushing - better out than in, but be kind to yourself. |

I remember I used to get headaches after yoga class when I first started practicing. I would also attribute it to the toxins in the body because it stopped after a while of practicing.
But definitely adjust the pace of the class to your needs, pushing too hard would not help the process of possible detoxification, but rather do the contrary. |

Make sure that you drink lots of water (after your class is best, but generally I'd increase the amount of water you drink in the day too). If you are releasing toxins from your body then the water will help flush them from your system. I agree with Viparita, if you feel like you can, then keep doing gentle yoga for the next 2 months rather than back off (but you know your body best, so see what feels right for you) - after a couple of months see if you notice any difference.
