It would be advisable to consult a medical professional before doing any kind of physical exercise with ripped muscle tissue. Referring back to Patanjalis 8 limbs - (Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Deanna, Samadhi) the first of the Yamas being Ahimsa which loosely translated means "Non-violence." I reckon we can all learn from this one by applying it to ourselves. So go gently, take the advise of a physiotherapist or yoga therapist. Remember in Yoga "No pain, No pain."

I agree with Spectrum (I like your 'no pain, no pain' - I'll be using that, thank u...
) Tapasya - if you have pain and you've ripped somthing then go see a doctor and get it checked out. If you're body is hurtin' then there's probably a reason! Get better and then come back to your practise when you feel well and ready. Last edited by BendyLady : 07-31-2007 at 02:19 AM. |
