Terms of Use
YogaTalk.org (the “message boards”) is a moderated PEER SUPPORT community. Use of YogaTalk.org constitutes acceptance of the following Terms of Use:-
1. Neither YogaTalk.org nor any YogaTalk.org agents or representatives make any representations with respect to the contents hereof and specifically disclaim any implied or express warrants of merchantability or fitness for any particular usage, application or purpose.
2. You are responsible to know and follow YogaTalk.org’s Terms of Use. Placements on the message boards, including, but not limited to websites, information, commentaries, materials, products and services, that, in the sole judgment of YogaTalk.org appear to violate these Terms of Use shall be removed.
3. The message boards are for entertainment, sharing and for peer support purposes only. Information included in a message boards should not replace necessary medical consultations with a qualified health professional to meet your individual health or medical needs, or those of your loved ones.
4. The information provided in YogaTalk.org is with the understanding that YogaTalk.org is not engaged in rendering professional medical services or advice.
5. YogaTalk.org does not verify the information placed on any message board in YogaTalk.org and, therefore, cannot judge the merits or lack thereof, of any offering, information, suggestions, ideas, opinions or advice.
6. YogaTalk.org will not knowingly allow material related to the sale or exchange of health or medical services or products to be communicated on the message boards. This includes but is not limited to information, commentaries, materials, surveys, products and services that, in the sole judgment of YogaTalk.org appear to violate YogaTalk.org’s Guidelines.
7. Material placed in YogaTalk.org does not necessarily reflect the views of YogaTalk.org
8. YogaTalk.org shall have the right to use questions, comments and postings submitted by members in articles, commentaries or other materials both online and offline. No compensation shall be earned, due, or payable for such use. All posts become the property of YogaTalk.org, to be removed, altered, and/or used.
9. Information copyrighted or owned by any individual or entity must not be posted on the messages boards. If such an event occurs, the individual posting the information shall be held solely responsible. YogaTalk.org shall not be held responsible for posted information that may violate copyright law. Persons posting messages are personally responsible for securing appropriate consent forms from copyright owners, prior to the posting of or uploading of copyrighted information, documents or software.
10. By accessing YogaTalk.org, you agree to hold YogaTalk.org, its assignees, licensees, owners, officers, moderators, administrators, webmasters and directors harmless from any loss, claim or damage arising from your use of any of the information and ideas contained on the site, including following suggestions or advice posted on the message boards.
11. Your username must be anonymous. For your username, do not register your real name or any part of your email address or a website name. Posts are picked up by search engines with world-wide access to any reader.
12. Do not register or post or reveal your past, current or future board topic or healthcare profession, in any way. The boards are to be used for PEER support, only. Professional titles lend undue weight to what is to be only your opinion. Members are to share health opinions and advice as PEERS.
13. Posting off-board contact information of any kind for any reason, is NOT allowed.
14. Members may not use this website to discuss, promote, or advertise their own websites or webpages or blogs, which includes any kind of personal internet communication, for any reason.
15. Posting any kind of information on how to find websites, products, services, businesses, commercial sites, message boards, blogs or chats is cause to be banned.
16. Messages that, in the sole discretion of the Administrator promote or advertise websites, personal webpages, links to pictures, businesses, freebies, surveys, polls, blogs, products or services, whether or not you personally benefit, may be removed by the Administrator.
17. Any post to members (or communications by post or email to moderators) that, in the sole judgement of the Administrator, is deemed to be off-topic, inappropriate, abusive, harmful, defaming, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, libellous, threatening, unsafe, invasive of privacy, or violates any law or any rule or moderator instruction may be deleted from the boards and may cause loss of website use.
18. Information copyrighted or owned by any individual or entity other than the person posting should not be posted on the message boards without the consent of the owner. If such an event occurs, the individual posting the information shall be held solely responsible. YogaTalk.org shall not be held responsible for posted information that may violate copyright law.
19. Your use of YogaTalk.org constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use.
