Default Power yoga is not for me

Maybe I've got it wrong, but isn't yoga supposed to be about going inward and focusing on the breath? I went to a power class recently and it was so hectic - we weren't reminded to focus on our breath at all and it ended up feeling more like a work out in a gym than yoga.

I know exactly how you feel Leaf - power yoga isn't for everyone, I also find it pretty full on (and I'm not into a heated room to practise in either). However, one thing I did think was good was that they focus quite a bit on bundhas - quite a refereshing change as they're not usually mentioned. I'm still not converted though, give me hatha vinyasa any day
