Question Vinyasa styles?

I'm interested in trying out different types of vinyasa styles of yoga that are out there. Basically I want to learn a flowing style and I'm not really sure what they are called or where I might look. I'm not looking for something as extreme as ashtanga, but want something more flowing than hatha. Any ideas?

This is a good question Plenty. I agree, this can be a bit confusing as there are lots of different flowing styles out there.

I'd advise looking for a studio which specializes in 'vinyasa' as they tend to teach various styles eg. hatha flow or hatha vinyasa, power flow, power vinyasa that type of thing. I've even seen it promoted as dynamic hatha. They are all flowing styles but the specific flavour of the class tends to come from the teacher. They play different types of music some can be full on of beware! I'd go and try them out, most studios do some sort of discount for first time students. Hope this helps .
