Exclamation Ana Forrest yoga

Does anyone know much about Ana Forrest - I've heard good things (she spoke at the Asia Yoga Conference in Hong Kong in July) and is apparently awesome!

Check out here website (ForestYoga.com is For Sale) for more info about workshops and conferences.

Ana has spent 30 years developing Forrest Yoga specifically to address our (current day) stresses and challenges, both physical and emotional. Forrest Yoga use intense pose sequences, compassionately taught, to develop skills in awakening each of the senses. It teaches you to bring aliveness, using breath, into every cell of your body, igniting your passion for living.

If anyone can share more about her style, or has attended her workshops can you let me know? Im interested!

hey Bev i have done a 3 hour workshop with Ana in NY, her yoga is really different from what i expected, not so much traditional sun salutations etc. and she is very specific with all her instructions of her poses. even to the point of exact placement (in inches!) of hands and feet. so if yr into free-flow she is not the woman for you! that doesn't mean that she's not sympathetic to needs of her students, she really helps with modifications if needs be.

personally i found her fantastic, but boy do u sweat so bring a towel! it's in a heated room. she is quite into using props and does some amazing core exercises using bocks which really work muscles. you'll use belts too.

id really recommend her for anyone looking for a new take on yoga and her experience is second to none.
