Hey! I'm new here...and new to Yoga. Just recently started Yoga (from Zendle - Connect With Experts), to lose weight. The thing is this is the first time i'm going it and noone I know has practiced Yoga. I had read a lot about how it helps in developing one's mind and body, I wanted to try it. I just wanted to know if it a good option to lose weight?

Hi Adams,
As a regular practice yoga can help manage your weight. Part of its philosophy looks at exercise, and also learning to moderate what you eat. Not only that, it also helps create a positive (realistic, 'cause we're all BEAUTIFUL) image of your body, and to accept things as they are. There are plenty of yogis with tummies, and thats totally OK. Reuben |
