My kids go once a week, through school and practise for an hour with a teacher that has been trained as a kids yoga instructor. Like you Michy my kids love it. They come bouncing out telling me all of the animal poses that they've done, the games they've played and stories they've been told. It's sounds great to me, much more fun than the yoga I do!

tee hee - I agree. the last time they went they told me this great story about how they floated up into the air in their hot air balloon, played with (and then became) clouds, then rain came down and sprinkled in the trees (which again they became), they jumped over streams (their mats). They really encourage creative thinking and experimentation. I love them doing it. And it sounded much more fun than the afternoon that I'd been having!

As an elementary school teacher, this is so positive to hear. I would love to lead a group of kids in yoga during p.e. time. We play so much basketball, kickball, softball, and handball that I think their ready for something different. I know some will feel self-conscious at first, but I know the after effects will make a huge difference in their attention and health.
