I have a question about this phrase, 'being in your body' that my teacher talks about all the time. Intellectually I know what this means but how it feels is harder to translate, you know what I mean? Is it when you are not focusing on other things and just thinking about how you feel and your breath. I'm not sure that this has even happened to me - (other things that are going on for me always sneak in there
) I get glimpses and then I'm not sure . |

Above all things, yoga is about flexibility of the mind. I believe your teacher may be refering to leaving your day, your thoughts and everything else behind and just focusing on here and now. Allowing our mind only to focus on our body and spirit (/breath) is not easy, but a goal many of us are working towards.
Hope that helps ![]() |
