Angry Tight muscles

I took some time out from yoga over christmas and have recently gone back to my regular classes. It always amazes me how quickly you lose fitness and it takes such a long time to get fit! It's seems very unfair! Anyway after my practice I'm really tight all over particularly my back muscles. Maybe I was trying a bit hard and overdid it (one of the things I need to work on this year!!!)

I sympathise...did someone move the floor another 10 cm further away than last year?
I swear it's got further to get into a forward bend than last year.

But after a bumpy start things usually get back to normal faster than you think, even if it takes a little longer each year that I get (even) older!

This happened to me too, first couple of weeks back were not easy I was still as! But I'm not sure if it's because I regularly practiced last year, but after that it seemed to come back relatively easy. I feel like I'm back to how I was now that it's been about 6 weeks.
