Default To practice or not?

I have to admit to being an 'irregular' pranayama practitioner and haven't ever really got into the routine of doing it regularly.

I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who does, and if they think it has made a difference - and if so how.

Default Nadi Shodhana - purifying breath

I have a regular pranayama practise (which I do first thing before my asana practise). I find it really helps to calm me down and balance my digestion (and increases heat / agni to burn toxins) so that I generally feel more centred and happy.

Start with something simple (like Nadi Shodhana) and make it part of your general practise. I guarantee that you'll notice the difference.

Default

I agree, it's part of my regular practise and my teacher is really into teaching it. We practise it at the end of our asana class and she links it with meditation which works really well.

I'd be interested if anyone knows when it's best to practise it, at the beginning or end of your asana practise...
