Default Bhramari (bumblebee) breathing

I find Bhramari (bumblebee pranayama) excellent for calming me down if I'm really stressed.

It apparently really nourishes the nervous system and shakes it up. If I'm ever feeling like I'm going to get a cold I do loads of it and it really helps. I've also heard that it really helps to cure insomnia (thankfully not a problem that I have!)

Has anyone ever used Bundhas when practising it and found it enhances the experience?

Hi David - If you retain your breath and apply jalandhara bundha during your practise it will make the effects stronger. Once you've completed your final round of the practise, retain your breath and apply jalandhara and molabundha, and on your exhale apply uddiyana bundha. This makes you more aware and more sensitive so you can go deeper into your meditation practise.
