I'd ask her why she is pushing herself so much and ask her if I could give her a hug
. She must know that this is over doing it. Say to her that you're worried about her and that as her friend you think that she might hit the wall. Most important listen to what she has to say. |

Every day practice isn't too much if the intention behind it is right - its not dangerous, it might cause physical burnout if the appropriate rest & diet aren't adhered to, but its definately not going to kill her.
Definately give her a hug, but why do or say anything else? The lessons best learned are the ones we realise ourselves, so if she needs to burn out to teach herself that you can overdo Bikram style yoga then thats what she needs to do. But you never know, she may not burn out & end up being SUPER fit, she may back off the daily Bikram and move to something else like Hatha, who can tell? Only her. And only in time. A lesson in acceptance methinks... Hari OM |
