Arrow headstand in savasana

I'd like to add a headstand in savasana at the end of the class, I've found they give me loads of energy and a natural high. For those of you that go really regularly to class, what do you think? Even though it's not part of the sequence I was thinking doing it in savasana would be good as the lights are off and everyone is lying down with their eyes closed. Or do you not think that this is a good idea... thoughts would be welcome.

haha... no way, taichi during savasana, love it! My teacher would kick my butt if I did this, she's pretty strict about that sort of thing.

Go for it if you're brave enough, but wouldn't you disturb others?

Nope - I'd say don't do it. Savasana, for me anyway, is a time to relax and just chill out after a full on practice. If I had a guy (sorry purple you are a guy right?) next to me, pullin' moves like a headstand I wouldn't be happy. You need to chill out, that's what that time is for!!!

just to clarify, i wasn't doing taichi in a room full of Savasanis. in the classes i go to the teacher often makes for the empty shower as soon as we're in savasana, leaving us to emerge at our leisure. at least half the class usually get up within the next minute to go and make some more money or something. there was only 6 or 7 left on the floor when i helped myself to the mirror. that's the time i'm suggesting Purple could do the headstand.

Oh, yeh I was meaning when everyone was doing savasana I would do it, but maybe it's not such a good idea . I like your thinking diddid but when our class is over our teacher wants us to leave straight away so they can lock up, so I guess I wouldn't have time to stay a bit afterwards...

I'm all four getting natural highs, so I might try it after class next time! we always get some extra tim in the room after class.

they have to give you some time, at least to do some savasna!

Yeh, but our teacher gets us into savasana and then walks out of the room, so it's up to all of us to spend how long we want to. Usually when the first person it up it starts everyone else moving. But the next class is in there pretty soon after that.
