How would you choose a good ashtanga studio, is there something that I should look at to guide me? I'm new to my city and don't really know where to start. I have been going to a studio which teaches hatha but think that my personality type (and physique) might be more suited to ashtanga. If I'm being honest I'm finding the hatha a little boring and want something more dynamic

Hi Sticky I've been on this path too, trying to find a new studio to practice at. Beyond hatha yoga studio and somewhere I can get to easily I think it's all about the teacher. Going and trying out a few places and seeing who you connect with. I may be wrong but at the end of the day lots of people can teach the poses, it's harder to find that genuine connection. I've been searching out those who I think are authentic in the way they teach and live their lives, it's hard to put your finger on what that actually means but you know when someone talks and you can just tell if they're living it or just talking it? Know what I mean???
