Default Why the competition

What is it about competitive yoga peole? Why is it that ashtangi's get a bad wrap. I met someone yesterday who told me that people who do ashtanga tend to be hyper people who don't know how to relax. What's that all about?

Ahh competitive people....they are everywhere...even in the yoga studio!!

Aren't we fortunate that there are different styles to suit our different personalities or different moods?!

A wonderful result of yoga study is the opening of our hearts and minds to all possibilities! So lets be supportive of each other, and our choices, and continue to learn about all that yoga has to offer so we can have opinions that are based on true knowledge not hearsay

I don't know...ashtanga types are more 'full on' people (sorry but it's true) - and there's nothing wrong with that! It is what it is - as urban soul says, it's good we're all different and there are different styles to suit us all!
